Single around the Holidays

You know it's that time of year again! The time with endless family reunions, and everyone asking why you are still single. Sometimes I just want to say this, to be funny of course ;)

Prepping for the Holidays....

The Holiday Season has officially started!

Whenever I get to this time of year, I seriously evaluate my exercising and dieting schedule.
Or should I say, the lack thereof.

I should probably change that :P

Bath Time

So I am the first to admit- I kind of think taking a bath is kind of gross.
I have never really liked doing it, until well, I went to college!

Sometimes you just need to unwind. Or, for me, it is the perfect way to get myself in a better mood. I can relax and all my stress simply melts away!

So for a day you are feeling a bit melancholy.... take a bath Madison-Style!

Go into your bathroom. Draw a hot bath. Like steaming hot!
Get about two to three chairs, and you can have them at varying heights.
Place them around the edge of the bath.
Get a cinnamon bath bomb, and place it on one of the chairs.
Put your computer/ stereo that is connected to the computer on the middle chair.
Get lots of little, cheap candles.
Light them, and place them on the corners of the bath and the outside chairs.
Turn off the lights.
Put up your hair,
and place a towel at the edge of the bath to act as a pillow for your head/neck.

Play these videos simultaneously, and step into your bath.

Sit back, and slowly relax your body.

Feel free to put an eye mask on.

Once you start to get sleepy, put the bath bomb in.

It is the perfect way to rejuvenate and invigorate your body and mind!

It is wonderful way to prepare for/take a break during/recover from finals,
or anything else that may be troubling for you.

Missing Part in the History Books

What are we leaving out of the History books?
Anti-racism activist Tim Wise sheds some light onto the origin of racism
and the rise of white supremacy.
